A few days ago I did some research on what the new Social Networks of the near future were. While I was trying (laboriously) these 13 new Social channels, it was immediate to identify some common lines that concern “the web in general”, surprising me in finding some of these characteristics even in the strangest e-commerce in the world encountered a few weeks before and in the rules for success on search engines . In short, the web increasingly seems to be an “organic world” with its own rules and trends that apply everywhere, from blogs to social media, from e-commerce to search engines.
The common characteristics of the new
Social (see them here: 13-nuovi-social-network-quale-sara-il-nuovo-facebook/) that emerge strongly in this recent wave in my opinion are 4. > MINIMALISM Ello, This, Medium: 3 social networks that make graphic minimalism their most recognizable feature, from a visual point of view. Almost as if they wanted to put an end to the information chaos and stimuli that we encounter on Facebook or Twitter, for example, and in general on the now established Social. In fact, I think I can also say without a doubt “ functional minimalism ”: with Facebook you can do anything and everything; the new Social networks instead want to propose one thing and one thing only.

Chirp focuses on sounds; Bristlr on beards; Heard on interests. There are also more complex examples, but minimalism is still an evident trend. > SPECIFICITY Almost a direct consequence of the previous point: the synthesis at the hong kong email list level of functionality goes hand in hand with the choice of very specific topics / targets. Bristlr is exemplary, which focuses on the “beard”; but also Conspire on the possibility of increasing one’s level of relationships in the world of work / professionals; and finally Shots which goes straight to selfies. > CONTENTS

Social world: content is always central , and here a multitude of real parallel social worlds flourish in which to find space to reproduce one’s thoughts, share and comment, be part of a community. If a person wanted to start blogging, they would be spoiled for choice between… WordPress Blogger Tumblr LinkedIn Publishing Platform.

Just to name a few… > INDIVIDUALISM Everything that passes itself off as “Social” seems to me above all a place for talking rather than listening . Am I too cynical, or are all the aforementioned platforms an broadening horizons: local knowledge to strengthen foresight practices expression of the SELF (person or brand), in the hope of winning the enormous online competition and building an audience of listeners (do they really listen? do they dialogue? or do they read/share to pursue personal goals?) larger than the competition?
Learnist, Pheed and Shots I believe are an example of individualism:
On Shots the protagonists are you and what you do with loads of selfies (ruling individualism), on Pheed and Learnist , on the other job data hand, it is possible to stand out and gain followers (but even less cynically, to tell the truth, you can learn and find quality content). Paradoxically, despite what “Social” should mean – in my opinion – there is still no virtual place where one can express only the interests of groups of people, of collectives: but let’s be honest, does this really interest us?
