Is it easy to get these links?

No, it’s not. That’s why they are so valuable! The best “legal” way to get them is to offer information worth mentioning and sharing . No one recommends a bad movie to a friend, right?

Is PageRank Dead?
As I said before, the public PR is very outdated . In fact, the last update was leaked by mistake in December last year and it may not be renewed again.

This means that PageRank

accurate mobile phone number list

A is no longer as reliable a metric as it used to be, and a website with  accurate mobile phone number list a public PR 1 may have a real PR 3, or the opposite.

Are you one of those people who wonders if the public PR will be updated again ? The truth is that nobody knows if this will happen sooner or later or never. But remember that the real PR , the one that Google uses to position your website in the results, still exists .

What alternatives are there to PR?
Currently, there are two different types of very reliable metrics that you can use:

Moz Page Authority/Domain Authority
Majestic Trust Flow/Citation Flow
The first of these (PA/DA) is the most similar to PageRank, as it takes into account the quantity and quality of links (along with other factors) of a page (PA) or a domain (DA) and assigns it a number from 1 to 100.

This number measures the probability that a page will appear in the top positions on Google: The higher the number, the greater the probability. To find out the metrics of a page, you can use Moz’s Open Site Explorer tool .

The second metric (TF/CF) is

based on a very interesting concept and, personally, it is the one that convinces me the most. Trust Flow and Citation Flow also count from 1 to 100, and like other systems, CF measures the quantity and quality of the links to a page.

Nothing new here, but Majestic adds TF to this link data, which measures the trustworthiness of a page . It does this by checking whether other pages with “proven guarantees” (for example whitehouse.gov ) link to it , directly uk data  or indirectly. You can check TF/CF with Majestic Site Explorer .

And how to use these metrics?
You can use them together with PageRank or use them how to never run out of ideas when publishing a post  independently. They are all valid when used properly, i.e. to compare pages or links with each other .

However, the most powerful formula is to combine them , taking advantage of the strengths of each one. This will make it easier for you to get better links and do a good analysis of your competition . Don’t know how? Don’t worry! I will explain it to you in an upcoming article that I will publish here, on the Doppler blog .

If you have any questions about metrics and positioning , you can use the comments space for any questions and I will answer them in the next installment. Go ahead!
