Many of the books in the Wiedrick Collection are becoming Having digital fragile and deteriorating as they were physically checke out. CDL provides an alternative format that allows the originals to be preserve.
“We think it’s a great legacy for the [Wiedrick] family because it allows broader access to the collection?” said Frail? who works with education researchers at the library that functions as a quasi-academic and public library used by the broader community.

“We are hearing great feedback?” sai Frail. “It has opened up a whole new realm of research and enable comparisons over time on a different scale.”
